See what creators are making, and continue a video its creator opened for reuse.
Let your story keep going
Creative Reuse lets creators continue each other's videos. The original creator chooses to allow it, earns from every licence, and keeps the credit on every spin-off.
Two ways to license
Creators decide separately whether others may continue their video and whether they may download it. A creator can allow one and not the other.
Continue someone's video and publish the next part as your own.
For creators who want to build on a story people already love.
See it in the app
From generating a video to another creator licensing it. Preview screens, built with sample data so no real account or video is shown.
Only videos generated with AITube's own AI tools, by the same account, can be licensed later. A file uploaded from your device can still be published, just not licensed.
1. Make a video with AI
Only videos generated with AITube's own AI tools, by the same account, can be licensed later. A file uploaded from your device can still be published, just not licensed.
2. Switch on licensing when you publish
On the publish step, “Allow Creative Reuse” and “Allow downloads” are separate, both off by default, each showing what a sale earns you.
3. A file you uploaded can't use the instant switches
The switches stay off with an explanation. Only AI-generated videos switch on by themselves, so an AI video made elsewhere can't skip the check. It can still be licensed after a review (steps 5 and 6).
4. Already published? Switch it on from your video
On your own video the owner sees a Rights button. It opens the same switches, with what each sale earns you, and asks you to accept the terms before anything goes live. The same entry is in Studio under Your Content.
5. Not made with AITube? Ask for a review
For an upload, or a video that was already popular before licensing existed, the Rights button opens a request instead. You say how you own it, add proof links, and accept the terms. Downloads need one extra confirmation: that a buyer gets a copy of the file to use outside AITube.
6. An admin audits the copyright, then decides
Nothing is switched on while the request waits, and you can withdraw it. An admin checks the video, your explanation and proof, and any content matches. Approval switches on exactly what you asked for; a rejection tells you why, and you can send a fixed request.
7. Extend and Download appear on the video
The buttons only show when that creator has switched the right on.
8. Extend: pick a licence and confirm
The clip starts from the original's last frame. The price is shown in credits before anything is charged.
9. Download: pick a licence and confirm
Same choice, for a copy of the file instead of a continuation.
10. The credit AITube adds
An Attributed extension shows “Extended from @creator” under the title. The uploader can't edit or remove this line.
11. Every licence, in one place
Your licences lists everything you've bought: the video, the tier, and what it's been used for.
12. The story map
Each video's own page shows the full tree of what's been built on it.
Videos made with AITube's AI switch licensing on themselves — when the same account that generated them publishes them. Anything else, such as a file you uploaded or a video that was already popular, can be licensed only after an admin audits the copyright and approves it.
Examples
Examples made by the AITube team. Switch between the original, the continuation, and both played together.
Two rabbits, one story, two creators
The original ends on the rabbits sharing a carrot. A second creator continues from that exact last frame and sends them off on a new adventure.
Can you spot the join?
The first 5 seconds are the original, the last 5 were generated as its continuation. The rabbit, its scarf, the snow and the forest all carry across the cut.
Step by step
1. A creator opens a video
When uploading, they switch on “Allow Creative Reuse”. Nothing is open for reuse unless its creator says so.
2. Another creator continues it
They buy a licence with credits, and AITube starts their new video from the original's last frame, so the story picks up exactly where it stopped.
3. The original creator earns
Every licence sold pays the creator of the original. The earning per sale is shown on the upload screen before they opt in.
4. The story grows
Spin-offs can be continued too. This page maps every branch a story has taken, back to the video that started it.

Buyers pay in credits. Creators earn in dollars, a fixed share of every sale. These are today's prices, the same ones you'll see at checkout.

FAQ
No. Both Creative Reuse and downloads are off for every video until you switch them on for that video. Videos uploaded before the feature launched stay closed.
Yes. They're separate switches. You might be happy for people to save a clip but not to continue your characters into a story you didn't write, or the reverse.
Two things: the licence, paid once per video, and the normal generation price for the AI model and length you choose for your clip. You see both before you're charged.
The generation credits are refunded automatically, and you keep the licence, so you can try again, even with a different model, without buying it twice.
No. A licence is bought once per video. Once you own it, you can extend that video again without paying for the licence.
Yes, for free. You don't need a licence for your own work. You only pay the generation cost of the new clip.
An Attributed licence keeps the creator's credit: an extension shows “Extended from @creator” and appears in the public story map. A Clean licence has no watermark or attribution, and a Clean extension is hidden from the public map. Clean costs more, and the creator earns more.
Not from an Attributed extension. AITube writes the credit line, not the uploader. A Clean licence is the only way to publish without it, and it pays you more.
Yes, if its creator allows it. Each creator earns from licences sold on their own part of the story, and the story map shows every level.
Public videos created with AITube tools, including extensions of them, switch on straight away. Uploads made elsewhere, and videos that were already published, can be licensed once an admin has audited the copyright and approved a request from the creator.
Yes, through a review. Open your video, press Rights, and send a request: say whether it's your original work or licensed content, explain how you made it, add proof links, and accept the terms. If you want downloads on, you also confirm that a buyer receives a copy of the file to use outside AITube. Nothing is switched on while it waits.
That the video is yours to license: the explanation and proof links, any third-party music, footage or images, any recognisable people or brands, and whether our content-match check found an overlap with another video. A video with an unresolved match can't be approved.
You get a notification with the reason, and licensing stays off. Fix the problem, such as replacing a commercial track or adding proof, and send a new request. A pending request can be withdrawn at any time.
Yes. When you're signed in and viewing your own video, a Rights button opens the licensing switches. The same option is under Studio, Your Content, in each video's menu.
Earnings land in your AITube wallet straight away. Cash earnings can be withdrawn 30 days after the sale.
Under Your licences, in the menu. Every licence you've bought is listed with the video it covers.
