Don’t Let Anger Control You | Ephesians 4:26–27
Have you ever been so hurt or angry that you couldn't stop thinking about what happened? Be careful—anger that isn't surrendered to God can slowly become bitterness. 🙏❤️ 📖 Ephesians 4:26–27 says: “In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.” This powerful Bible verse doesn't pretend that anger doesn't exist. We can become angry when we're hurt, betrayed, mistreated, or treated unfairly. But God warns us not to let anger control our actions or remain in our hearts unchecked. Feeling anger is one thing. Allowing anger to lead us into sin is another. When anger stays too long, it can turn into resentment, bitterness, hatred, and a desire for revenge. That's why Scripture encourages us to deal with anger rather than allowing it to take root. Bring your anger to God. Take time to calm your heart. Forgive where you can, seek peace when possible, and set wise boundaries when necessary. Don't let someone else's actions steal your peace or shape your character. You may not be able to control what happened to you, but with God's help, you can choose what happens next in your heart. ❤️🙏 💬 Comment “LORD, HELP ME RELEASE MY ANGER” if you're asking God to give you peace and self-control today. 👍 Like, share, and subscribe for more daily Bible verses, Christian encouragement, prayers, and faith-filled messages.
