Bless Those Who Hurt You | Romans 12:14
It's easy to be kind to people who are kind to you. But what happens when someone hurts, mistreats, or opposes you? 🙏❤️ 📖 Romans 12:14 says: “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.” This powerful Bible verse challenges us to respond differently when we're hurt. Our natural reaction may be to fight back, get even, or wish the same pain on the person who hurt us. But God's Word calls us to choose a different path: bless instead of curse. That doesn't mean approving of someone's harmful actions or allowing them to continue hurting you. It doesn't mean ignoring injustice or refusing to have healthy boundaries. It means refusing to let revenge and bitterness take control of your heart. You can walk away without hatred. You can set boundaries without wishing someone harm. You can seek justice without becoming consumed by revenge. And you can pray for someone while still recognizing that what they did was wrong. You don't have to return hurt with hurt. Let God deal with what you cannot control, and let Him protect the condition of your heart. Sometimes choosing grace is not weakness. It's strength under God's control. ❤️🙏 💬 Comment “LORD, HELP ME FORGIVE” if you're asking God to help you respond with grace instead of revenge. 👍 Like, share, and subscribe for more daily Bible verses, Christian encouragement, prayers, forgiveness messages, and faith-filled content.
