Undead Mine

A mining town’s sealed shaft begins emitting strange tremors and whispers, leading to a rescue mission that ends in disaster. One survivor returns babbling about shadows, infection, and men transforming into something inhuman. The truth emerges too late: an ancient sickness long buried in the mine has escaped, turning miners into hungry, shambling carriers. As the infection spreads beyond the mine and traps the town, the narrator realizes their once-lifegiving coal has become a deadly curse—and the darkness from below is now at their door.
