Beautiful dua|must pray for yourself|
Translation (Saheeh International): “When the youths took refuge in the cave and said, ‘Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance.’” --- Explanation: This verse speaks about the young believers (Ashab al-Kahf – the Companions of the Cave) who lived in a time when their people had turned away from Allah and fallen into disbelief. These youths chose to leave their homes, wealth, and families to protect their faith (Iman). "When the youths took refuge in the cave" — They sought safety in a cave to escape persecution for their belief in the Oneness of Allah. Their act reflects deep faith, courage, and trust in Allah. "Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself" — They prayed for divine mercy, knowing only Allah could protect and comfort them in their trial. "And prepare for us from our affair right guidance" — They asked Allah to make their decision beneficial and righteous, to guide them on the right path despite being cut off from the world. --- Lesson: This verse teaches us: 1. Faith requires sacrifice — standing firm even when the world opposes you. 2. Seek Allah’s mercy and guidance — in all times of difficulty and confusion. 3. Trust in Allah’s plan — when you act sincerely for His sake, He protects and guides you in miraculous ways.
