A Powerful Prayer to Resist Temptation & Bad Habits

Are you struggling with temptation, unhealthy habits, or vices that keep pulling you away from the person you want to become? 🙏 This prayer is for anyone asking God for strength, self-control, wisdom, and protection from temptation. Sometimes we know what is right but still struggle to walk away. We may fall into old habits, make choices we regret, and feel disappointed in ourselves. But every day is another opportunity to choose differently and ask God for strength. Heavenly Father, protect my heart and mind from every temptation that pulls me away from You. Give me strength to walk away from harmful habits, unhealthy desires, and anything that can destroy my peace. When I feel weak, remind me to choose what is right. Give me wisdom to recognize temptation before I fall, and courage to say no even when it is difficult.
