A faceless video generator turns an idea or a script into a finished video with an AI narrator, visuals, captions and music, so you can run a YouTube, TikTok or Instagram channel without being on camera. There are dozens now, and their pricing pages change constantly. We compared the twelve that come up most, plus AITube's own, on prices, free options, length limits, auto-posting and refunds, all checked on each tool's own pages on 4 November 2026.
Key takeaways
Series autopilots (Revid, AutoShorts, Faceless.video, Faceless.so, StoryShort.ai) post a channel for you on a schedule.
For long YouTube videos, vid.ai (up to 20 minutes on Starter) and AITube's StoryShort (10 minutes on Creator, 30 on Pro) stand out.
Read the refund terms. Crayo says all sales are final, and AutoShorts and Pictory offer no refunds.
Free plans are shrinking: AutoShorts paused its free plan, and StoryShort.ai and vid.ai have no free trial.

Series autopilots: a channel that posts itself
Revid
Revid turns an idea, script, link or audio into Shorts and runs "Auto-Mode" workers that make and post a video every day to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X. Growth is $39 a month ($32 billed yearly) for 2,000 credits, which Revid says covers about 25 to 50 thirty-second videos; full AI video models such as Veo 3 cost far more per video. It offers avatars, 1,000+ voices and Seedance 2.5, Hailuo, Wan 3.0 and Veo 3. Plan credits don't roll over, and refunds are discretionary.
AutoShorts
AutoShorts is the simplest autopilot: pick a topic and it posts a series to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. The cheapest plan is $19 a month for about three posts a week from one series, up to 90 seconds each. Its free plan is "temporarily paused" because of bot abuse, and it doesn't offer refunds.
Faceless.video and Faceless.so
These are two different companies. Faceless.video runs series channels from $20 a month (30 credits, up to 15 videos) and posts to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. Faceless.so, from Faceless LLC, starts at $29 ($24 yearly) for 500 credits and posts to seven platforms, including LinkedIn, Threads and X, with Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.5. Since October 2, 2026, Faceless.so's unused credits no longer roll over.
StoryShort.ai
StoryShort.ai, an independent product by Samuel Rondot and not related to AITube, makes story videos and posts series to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram Reels up to four times a day. Starter is $39 a month ($23 yearly) for 400 credits, about 26 thirty-second videos, with videos up to 3 minutes; longer videos need its higher plans. New accounts get no free credits, and exporting needs a paid plan.
Idea or script to a finished video, including long-form
vid.ai
vid.ai writes, voices and edits faceless Shorts and long videos with stock footage, AI images and animated avatars. Starter is $59 a month for about 40 one-minute Shorts or four ten-minute videos, and since September it makes videos up to 20 minutes on every paid plan (60 on Plus and Pro), in six languages. There's no free trial and no auto-posting; it refunds unused credits within 30 days.
AITube StoryShort (our tool)
StoryShort is the faceless video tool inside AITube. It writes the script for free from one idea, then adds the voice (97 narrators or your own cloned voice), visuals (AI images in 12 looks, stock footage and AI video shots), one of 54 caption styles in 11 languages, and music. Shorts run up to 3 minutes, and 16:9 YouTube videos up to 10 minutes on Creator or 30 on Pro, including in Hindi and Urdu.
Each video shows its credit price before you make it, and credits are only taken when it's ready. You can buy credits from $3 with no subscription, or use Creator at $19.99 a month (1,050 credits). Autopilot posts a series to YouTube on a schedule and to TikTok once you approve each post, and videos can also go to Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads and Pinterest. Unlike the others, AITube is also a video platform, so your videos can find viewers there and earn from them.
Zebracat and Fliki
Zebracat makes quick AI videos from a prompt or script from $39 a month, with 5 free videos at 720p up to 30 seconds; its own pages disagree on the cheapest plan's length limit. Fliki is strong on voices and languages, with a free plan at 720p with a watermark; its web prices didn't load for us, and its App Store listing shows Standard at $33 a month. Fliki can post to YouTube on paid plans.
Broader AI video studios
InVideo AI
InVideo AI is a general AI video studio that also makes faceless videos, with avatars, voice cloning and Seedance, Veo 3.1 and Kling. Its pricing page lists Starter at $20 a month for 400 credits, with a free plan limited each week; an older FAQ on its site still shows previous plans, so check the pricing page. It doesn't auto-post.
Pictory and CapCut
Pictory turns scripts, articles and URLs into videos built mostly from stock footage, from $29 a month (about 30 minutes of video), with a 14-day trial and no refunds. CapCut's script-to-video tool makes a stock-footage draft you finish in its free editor; its Pro price depends on your country.
Clipping and Reddit-story formats
Crayo is built for Reddit-story, fake-text and split-screen gameplay videos, from $29 a month for 250 videos; it launched an iPhone app in October 2026 and says all sales are final. OpusClip is different again: it cuts long videos you already have into Shorts, from $15 a month.

Before you pay
Check refunds: several tools refund nothing once credits are used.
Check rollover: unused credits disappear at renewal on many plans.
Check the models: cheaper plans often use slower or older AI video models; the newest ones cost more credits per video.
