Search for "where to watch AI movies" and you mostly get Hollywood films about artificial intelligence. This guide to where to watch AI movies is about the other kind: films made with AI video tools like Veo, Kling, Runway and Sora, usually by independent filmmakers. There are now three kinds of place to watch them: free indexes that collect films from YouTube, platforms that host and sell AI films, and festival archives. We checked each one on its own site on 30 October 2026.
Key takeaways
Free and biggest: AI Film Flix says it lists 6,698+ AI films, series and shorts, all free.
Most free sites don't host films: AI Film Flix, Hollywood.AI, glu.tv and AIMovieIndex play the creator's own YouTube upload.
Festival winners: Runway's Screening Room streams its 2023–2025 winners free.
Paid platforms pay creators: Oyra and VIYU share 80% of sales, DeepStories 70%.

AITube: AI films, trailers and shorts in one place (our platform)
AITube is a video and music platform built only for AI-made work. Creators upload straight to AITube, so the films play in AITube's own player rather than from YouTube, and each one shows which AI tool made it. Browse AI movies, AI short films, AI movie trailers, sci-fi and fantasy, horror and mystery and animation. Watching is free and needs no account, and there are iPhone and Android apps.
Most films on AITube are shorts from independent creators, so expect a range from experiments to polished work rather than feature-length releases. Filmmakers can post free; approved creators earn 55% of the ad revenue from their videos' watch pages, and Prompt Battles pay cash and credit prizes.
Free indexes of AI films
AI Film Flix
AI Film Flix is the largest free collection we found, saying it lists 6,698+ AI-generated movies, short films and series, split into features, series, shorts and verticals. It has a festival section with films from Runway, WAIFF Cannes, Reply Venice and others. Films play in the creator's official YouTube or Vimeo player, and you can watch for a while before it asks for a free account. Filmmakers can also upload directly (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 4 GB), reviewed by the team, but the site doesn't pay creators. The catalog is broad and loosely curated, so quality varies.
Hollywood.AI
Hollywood.AI is a free discovery site for AI films, music videos and series, founded by Sheeraz Hasan. Like most indexes, it plays the original YouTube upload, so the creator keeps the views. It also has a section of AI micro-dramas, and filmmakers can submit a film free.
glu.tv
glu.tv is a hand-picked index of AI video: films, shorts, series, ads and music videos, tagged by the tool that made them. It says it doesn't host anything; every film plays from the creator's own YouTube channel. Curation is manual and there's no payout. Its own guide to where to watch AI films covers the free indexes.
AIMovieIndex and Cinema Marketplace
AIMovieIndex is a database rather than a player: it says it indexes 1,758 films from 783 creators, scores them editorially and links to the original upload, with filters by AI video engine. Cinema Marketplace is a smaller curated catalog of independent AI films, listing 166, which play as YouTube embeds; it plans paid rentals but says they aren't available yet.
Where can you watch AI film festival winners?
Runway, the AI video company, has run an AI film festival since 2022, now called the AI Festival. Its Screening Room streams the 2023, 2024 and 2025 winners free, including the 2025 Grand Prix film, Total Pixel Space by Jacob Adler. The 2026 Grand Prix went to A Face Only A Mother Could Love by Robert Gaudette, which also won the Reply AI Film Festival in Venice; it's on his YouTube channel and on AI Film Flix. These are the most consistently strong AI films you can watch anywhere.
Platforms that host and sell AI films
Oyra
Oyra is a pay-per-film store for AI cinema with no subscription. You buy credit packs from $5, and films cost about $1 to $2 for shorts and $2 to $3 for features, with a free two-minute preview of every film. Oyra hosts the films itself and only takes films of 10 minutes or more. Creators keep 80% of each sale, paid through Stripe from $50. It's very new: Oyra Pty Ltd was incorporated in Australia in 2026 and launched with about ten invited creators.
VIYU
VIYU streams AI films with free titles for account holders, single films at €1.99, and monthly plans at €2.95, €7.95 or €9.99. Creators upload their own films, set them free or paid, and keep 80% of every euro, according to the site's FAQ. It runs as a web app with no store app.
DeepStories
DeepStories is a free platform for AI movies, series and short films with new episodes every week; you need a free account, and creators may charge for individual episodes. Creators connect their YouTube channel and videos are imported, and they keep 70% of each sale.
YouTube, Vimeo and tool showcases
Most AI films live on YouTube, which is why the indexes above embed it. YouTube has no AI film section, but it requires creators to disclose realistic AI content and shows a label. Vimeo has no AI category, though some festival winners are on their creators' Vimeo accounts. AI tool companies also run showcases of films made with their own tools, such as Flick TV for films made with Flick and Higgsfield's Original Series.
Which one should you use?
Want the strongest films first? Start with Runway's Screening Room, then Hollywood.AI or glu.tv.
Want the most to browse? AI Film Flix and AITube.
Want longer AI films and don't mind paying a little? Oyra, VIYU or DeepStories.
Make AI films? Post on AITube or YouTube and submit to the indexes; Oyra, VIYU and DeepStories share sales revenue.
